The Langham Brewery 2nd Annual Conker competition… Sunday 18th October 2009 from 12.00 ‘til the Conqueror is crowned!

Building on the success of last year’s tournament, we proudly announce our 2nd annual conker tournament to be held at Lodsworth Village recreation ground on 18th October.

There will be 2 contests — Senior for the Langham Cup and Junior (6 to 13yrs) for the Langham Shield. The winners each will receive a miniature cup and a Bonkers for Conkers T Shirt plus a poly pin of LSD for the senior champion and a bag of delicious chocolate buttons (kindly donated by The Chocolate Alchemist) for the junior.

In 2008 Justin Portman beat Nigel Turner in the Seniors and Ellie Richards beat Elissa Mansley in the ALL FEMALE junior final. So something for the boys to challenge this year?

Hog roast, beer (of course) and homemade cakes and teas and also a wide variety of stalls — jewellery; painting; knitwear and a few therapeutic practitioners! Not forgetting the amazing Chocolate Alchemist and Peter Hawkins miniature railway engine and many more… to be announced!

Register now to secure a place!! Numbers limited to 256 for each contest!! Proceeds to Lodsworth Village Shop and Macmillan Cancer Care.
